latest version of haplome connect:

haplomeconnectv1.1.3 - Mac OS X 10.5 only (back to mostly-stable release)

here is a short tutorial to get a haplome running:

  • download the Max/MSP 5 runtime
  • install max runtime
  • create an ad-hoc wireless network

  •  connect iphone or ipod touch to that network
  • open haplome connect
  • download this monome app - boiingg v0.1.5 (max 5.0.2)
  • open boiingg with max5 runtime and make sure the osc prefix was set to “/osc” in haplome connect
  • turn DAC checkbox on in boiingg
  • select monome64 under “which monome” dropdown in boiingg
  • before running haplome make sure haplome preferences in the settings menu are set to 8 rows and 8 columns
  • connect haplome to haplome connect by selecting your computer’s name in haplome
  • press a button on phone and leds should start bouncing and playing sounds on the computer
  • press a button on the buttom row and that column will stop bouncing
  • if successful you can now download other monome apps from monome.org and run them with haplome
